Temperature can have many different effects on a product.
Components within a circuit will each have a working temperature
range; once this is exceeded the electrical properties change and
the circuit can become unstable, or cease to function at all.
Materials can also deteriorate over time, ageing prematurely due
to either high or low temperature extremes.
Humid conditions lead to condensation which can be damaging to
circuitry and aggravate corrosion in dissimilar metals. Simulation
of such conditions provides confidence that your product is not
unduly affected.
An extensive range of requirements for Climatic Testing/Temperature Testing can be
met using our wide variety of environmental testing climatic chambers. We
are able to offer temperatures ranging from -70°C to +180°C for
both endurance and cyclic testing. |

Humidity or damp heat conditions can be achieved over the range
of 10% to 98% Relative Humidity (RH).
Combined temperature, humidity and vibration conditions can be
achieved using our combination facility.
Access is available to allow powering and functional testing of your
product in all chambers, and where required, additional
thermocouples and data-logging facilities can be provided.
Larger items can be accommodated in walk-in temperature &
combined temperature/humidity chambers. Additionally, thermal
shock is available over the range of -80°C to +180°C, using a rapid
transfer twin compartment chamber. This is a fully automated
facility allowing 24 hour testing to be carried out.
Rapid thermal cycling up to 60°C per minute is available using our
HALT Chamber. |
